Reception

Welcome to Reception. We are known as Rainbow.

Our classes are Bluebells, Buttercups and Snowdrops, and we are very excited to begin a wonderful year of learning together.

This year we will explore a range of engaging topics across the curriculum, including learning about insects, nature and farm animals. There will be lots of opportunities for pupils to learn through play, discovery and exploration.

We will spend time settling into school life, learning how to be great learners, developing important independent skills, and building new friendships. Pupils will begin their journey into reading and will enjoy sharing a wide range of books together at school.

Throughout the year we will take part in many exciting learning experiences, including a visit to a farm and welcoming visitors into school to enrich our learning.
